Who Are We?
We are a not-for-profit Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation (ACCO) registered with the Office of the Register of Indigenous Corporations (ORIC). We are based in Dubbo and are supportive of programs and projects across the Central West and Orana regions.
We are committed to empowering Aboriginal people, families, and communities in self-determination and connections to land, water and spiritual identity.
Guided by culture, kinship, and connection to Country, we deliver programs that support healing, resilience, and self-determination.
Our work spans community wellbeing, homelessness and housing support, youth and family services, cultural mentoring, advocacy, and partnerships that strengthen opportunities for Aboriginal people.
Our Partner Organisation
We are proud to have Orana Support Service as our partner organisation.
Orana Support Service has over 37 years’ experience providing support services. They are the Specialist Homelessness Service for adults and families.
As a Community Housing Provider Orana Support owns and manages social and community housing across western NSW.
They are also a registered NDIS provider.

Strong People Aboriginal Community Safety Program
The Aboriginal Community Safety Program is a response to domestic, family and sexual violence (DFSV) in Aboriginal communities in NSW.
Our Strong People project delivers services and supports to Aboriginal people in the Dubbo region who have experienced or are at risk of experiencing DFSV and promotes wellbeing and safety for Aboriginal individuals, families and communities at risk of or experiencing DFSV.
